With New Year’s Eve coming shortly, it’s come to my attention that one of my New Year’s resolutions should be focused on taking more initiative in my life.

If you’ve been following along with this blog, I first want to thank you for sticking around on this journey with me. I apologize for not writing as frequently as I promised or personally wanted to, but life was a little hectic these past few weeks.

With my last post about what I’m looking for in an apartment, I sort of went off-topic when it comes to the “heart” of what I’m aiming for… which I believe is for me to reignite the passion I once had for writing.

If there’s anything myself and others have learned while living in New York, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, it’s that you really figure out what matters to you when finding and making your home.
